This gold miner‘s cabin was abandoned at Bear Creek near Gardiner, Montana. Prints are also available at Lakeside Lodge Resort Gallery at Island Park, Idaho.
Primitive American architecture is the fusion of man and nature. When I happen upon a relic, I sense human energy in its form. I paint with reverence for the story it tells about the dreams of the pioneers, their marriage to the land, and the mystery of their parting. Nature embraces what remains, reclaiming it to prairies, wildflowers and the woods.
